Clubs are building their own AI agents for fan service

From Tottenham's Ask Spurs to the Cavaliers' Roxy, clubs are giving fans a branded AI agent that answers questions on tickets, memberships, parking and matchday access.

What we see

The common thread is a club answering its own fans. Tottenham's Ask Spurs covers ticketing, memberships, retail and stadium events in many languages on the club site and app. AC Milan runs Mila for fan support and subscriptions, and FC Bayern's first use case is an agent for digital ticket access and account questions on matchdays.

In North America the agent moves closer to the sale. Seattle Sounders built a renewal agent for season members, the Cavaliers' Roxy helps fans complete ticket and merchandise purchases, and the Denver Broncos let AI agents handle fan inquiries by phone, web chat and messaging before handing over to staff. D.C. United's agent answers from club and league sources, and Boston Legacy FC is building a team-branded app around the matchday.

In Asia the focus is the arena and the question itself. Alvark Tokyo let fans at a B.League game scan QR codes to ask about facilities, rules, players and food in several languages, and Seoul E-Land sorted past fan inquiries into types so a bot handles simple ones and its AI employee Leon handles the rest. Beyond football, the pattern also reaches basketball, the NFL and the shared Portland Thorns and Portland Fire organisation.
