Cavaliers owner Rock Entertainment Group launches Roxy, an AI agent across all its properties
Roxy, built with Satisfi Labs and launched on 1 October, answers fans of the Cavaliers, Monsters, Charge and Rocket Arena and helps them complete ticket and merchandise purchases.
In depth · Summary of the source
Rock Entertainment Group, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has launched Roxy, a conversational AI agent that serves fans across all of the group's properties.
Key facts
- Roxy officially launched on 1 October and was built in collaboration with Satisfi Labs
- It covers the Cavaliers, the AHL's Monsters, the G League's Charge, Rock Entertainment Sports Network, Rocket Arena and the Sirens, who debut in the WNBA in 2028
- The Cavaliers formed an AI team in July
What was done
Roxy is a conversational greeter for fans who touch any of the group's properties. For ticketing questions it surfaces information and tries to help the fan complete the transaction; for merchandise it pulls up the item, such as a jersey, and hands the fan off to make the purchase. The team says it will run a launch-and-learn process and tailor Roxy to handle these requests in more depth.

Why it matters
The club wants one personalised experience across properties, so a Cavs fan who goes to a concert in the arena is handled the same way. The organisation has worked with fan-facing AI since 2022, starting with the NBA All-Star Game, and expanded it in 2024 as an AI assistant.
